It's not about bad quality, but it's about prices. 20 dlcs with 20 $ each is fucking ridiculous, and the game it self isn't that cheap. They are greedy as fuck. I don't agree. I have this rule of thumb that I want to pay around one euro per gameplay hour. I know there are 60-something DLC, and total it all costs somewhere around $250 US. I currently don't have a ton of money, though I just started a new job and finally have some money coming in. I'm wondering if it's more worth it to pay the $4.99 a month and get everything there is for EU4, or if it's better to gradually buy each DLC over time. But looking at the opinions on forums it seems like dlc are very much a must to play the game properly. But looking at the prices of the bundles, it‘s pretty nuts compared to almost any other game - 270€ for one ,380€ for the largest one , even the cheapest one is 90€. Europa Universalis IV has intricate mechanics and an expansive world. However, the game’s depth is further enhanced by its numerous DLCs. I know that a DLC for extremely complex strategy games sounds daunting enough, which is why I don’t condemn you for wondering if it is worth getting one of the many DLCs available for EU4. None of the DLCs are required per se, but if you want to have fun for longer than a week all of them are required. The Hoi4 team does a good job at implementing all feature additions/changes through free patches and reserving DLCs for flavor content and alternate history possibilities. Is the hoi4 dlcs worth it? I spend most of my time in eu4, but I tried hoi4 and I do enjoy it. Im wondering if the dlc only add focus trees for specific nations, or if like eu4 you miss out on good mechanics by not buying the dlc. If you don't know which nation you want to play or want to play many nations across the world I would recommend Art of War and Rights of Man as the two "most universially useful" DLCs. #5. While a cool feature, and saving the time and effort to go all around South America, Africa (and Denmark woo), canals seem like they are not even close to worth building. With constant negative events occurring and an upfront cost of 20,000 ducats, it simply doesn't seem worth going through the canal-building process for .

eu4 which dlcs are worth it
